In Full Bloom Progress

Our little furry girl Luna spent the afternoon in our cat enclosure, quite close to where I was (see below).

We bought this lounge set on Friday, and what a great buy it was. It arrived on Saturday and I have spent quite a few hours stitching in the garden.

A stitchery from In Full Bloom by Lynette Anderson called Beehive.

Een stitchery van "In Full bloom" door Lynette Anderson, Beehive.
And Flower Pots is now also completed.

En de bloempotjes zijn ook klaar.

And Watering Girl....

And this resulted in four complete rows out of five for In Full Bloom. Only one more row to go, and then a narrow brown border and a pieced outer border, consisting of 64 rectangles and four squares.

This afternoon I spent in the garden working on the first stitchery for the fifth row: The Nest, with a very cute blue robin which has laid lilac eggs.
And in the mean time I'm also working on part 2 of Fernhill, also by Lynette Anderson. It is the current Button BOM. Unfortunately my squirrel button broke in the post, but Petra Prins Patchwork has promised me a replacement.

Thank you for your lovely comments!

Bedankt voor jullie leuke berichtjes!

Hi anne marieke,

Where do you order lynette anderson designs? i really love fernhill but i could not find it in any online shop. Do they sell fabric, or only the buttons and the design?

Thanks

Agi

Hi Agi,
Some I order directly from Lynette, such as In Full Bloom including fabrics, and Fernhill I ordered in the Netherlands. Lynette has a list of shops which still have Fernhill available on her website: http://www.lynetteandersondesigns.typepad.com/

Hope this helps.

Stitching in the open air is always a great pleasure, I find, and I try to do it as much as possible in the warm season - you've got yourself some wonderful furniture, enjoy. The quilt is just lovely.

How wonderful for you (and the cats) that you have such a great place for outside stitching! Love, love, love the quilt.

Summer must be in the air as Bunny also has just received a outdoor set of furniture. Yours looks so inviting Anne Marireke. Your new quilt is going to be stunning. What a heirloom to leave some one. So so much work. Cheers Glenda Down Under
