WOW: In Full Bloom & Fernhill

First of all, look at the gorgeous threads Michele bought me for my birthday, for the Chatelaine project Spring Watergarden. Thank you so much, Michele!

And if you want to see very cute bunnies, hop over to Michele's blog. She has designed her own applique blocks and they are just too cute.

Part 1 of Fernhill by Lynette Anderson was completed last week. I forgot to show you the button in this picture. Oops. It is a blue dove which is supposed to sit on the empty branch.
It was ready just in time for the arrival of part 2. I'm still looking for a suitable background fabric, which is different from the fabric for part 1.

This is part 2 of Fernhill, called Forest Floor, whith a very cute squirrel button.

I have been working on In Full Bloom steadily over the past weeks. This is one of the stitcheries called 'Birdbath'.

And here is another one called 'Birdhouse'.

En hier is er nog een: 'Birdhouse'.

And this is 'Flower Pots', which still needs to be appliqued onto its background block.

I should be working on getting the patchwork blocks pieced for this quilt, but stitcheries are so much more fun (IMHO ;o)) so I started the Beehive, which I will show you next time.

This blog post will be linked to Esther Aliu's WOW, WIPs on Wednesdays.

Isa
