Stonefields Part2 Progress

Stonefields part 2 arrived last Saturday, with the tiniest of hexagons for two 'Bordered Hexagons' blocks.

The first block I chose to make is "O is for Oscar" using a blue toile which I bought on Facebook last week, a background fabric given to me by Mum, a scrap from Hanneke, and a fabric from my stash. I need three of these blocks.

O is for Oscar 1

Then I started a "Bordered 3/8" Hexagons" block, but I still need to complete the hexagon flower in the centre. I need two of these (in different colours of course)

Bordered 3/8 Hexagons
Then I did the applique for the first of two "Oscillateurs"
Daarna heb ik de eerste "Oscillateur" geappliqueerd

Here is the second one
En hier is de tweede

They both still need the circles added in the centre.

One of the two "Square Peg in a Round Hole" is also finished

I have just prepared the third "O is for Oscar" block, which still needs a centre square.

And I'm working on the "Star in a Star" block too. In the mean time I swapped the big circle for something different.

I have also been working on Mountmellick by Di Ford, and have finally chosen the circles in between the green swags in the centre piece.

And I added a broderie perse rose on top of the vase.

I have just prepared some circles for Mountmellick and for Stonefields, including the two circles for the centres of the two Oscillateurs. They are drying as we speak.

That's all last week's progress. Back soon with more Mountmellick and Stonefields.

Love your blocks, Mountmellick is a temptation also. Was not able to resist Stonefields and just ordered. Thank you for the link and the beautiful pictures of your blocks.
Greetings,
Sylvia
