Phebe

Having seen Di Ford's Phebe at the quiltshow in Veldhoven last week, and having had the pattern in my stash for several years, I just HAD to start it.
First of all I went fabric shopping and with Jacqueline of Samsara Quilting's help, chose these gorgeous fabrics.

These are my greens for Phebe, more to come from my stash.

My browns for Phebe, also more to come from my stash.

My pinks for Phebe, plenty more to come from my stash.

And last but not least my teals for Phebe.

Kruimel was very willing to lend a helping paw...

Kruimel wilde wel een pootje helpen....

.... but quickly got utterly bored with the enormous number of pieces that needed tracing...

... and fell asleep using my laptop as a pillow.

Just as I am writing this blog post, postie rang the doorbell and said the parcel which he was delivering was so pretty, that he couldn't push it through the letter box. It contained my birthday present from my friend Michele . She chose these beautiful birds for me from Sandra Leichner's Naturalist's Notebook series.
Thank you so much, Michele!

Heel erg bedankt, Michele!

Thank you for your lovely comments on my previous posts.
