Dear Jane & Garden

Since I last showed you blocks of my Dear Jane, I have completed five new blocks.

G1 "Hattie's Henhouse"

C

C3 "Rayelle's Fence" using fabrics which Mum gave me.

E10 "Five & Dime" using fabrics given to me by Jane and Ineke.

D13 "Field of Dreams" using a beautiful cream fabric given to me by Jane, combined with a scrap which only just fitted the four triangles, given to me a while back by Jacqueline.

And yesterday, whilst watching the ceremony on tv for the return of part of the victims of flight MH17, I pieced D11 "Snow Crystal"

The anemones in our garden are in flower and they make a good subject for photographs.

The foxglove has almost finished flowering. Flowers are dropping off faster than I can take photos of them. This one is called "Almost Gone".

Thank you for all your lovely comments.
Bedankt voor jullie lieve berichtjes.

your flowers and blocks are beautiful, we are so sorry for the tragedy that affected your country so highly and hope this doesn't happen again to others

Dear Anne Marieke when ever you see your snow crystal block now you will remember this sad time that has hit Holland. This wee block of many many pieces to me symbolises all the broken pieces that will be patched together to return the loved ones to their families . Your white flower to me symbolises peace and I hope it comes soon. Hugs Glenda

Lovely new blocks, and the flowers are so pretty (love the colours of the anemones!). I streamed a bit of the ceremony yesterday: it was so dignified and respectful, in contrast to what happened to those poor peoples' bodies just after the tragedy.

I am so sorry for all the devastation that has gone on in your country. It so unbelievable that so many innocent people have been taken from their families. Watching the news saddens us to see what humans can do to other humans. Love your photos and block.
Hugs Bunny
