Forget Me Not

This afternoon I chose my fabrics for Forget Me Not by Esther Aliu, the new BOM which started on leap year day.

It was quite difficult to choose fabrics, because part 1 consisted of choosing our background, border and sashing fabrics, and cutting them to the right sizes. No actual applique pattern was revealed. This will happen on March 15th, next Thursday.

Other fabrics from my stash will be added in pink, burgundy, blue and greens, for the flowers and leaves which Esther has designed.

Vanmiddag heb ik mijn stoffen gekozen voor Forget Me Not van Esther Aliu, het nieuwe blok van de maand project dat is begonnen op schrikkeldag.

Het was best moeilijk om stoffen te kiezen, want deel 1 bestond uit het kiezen van onze achtergrondstoffen, randen en sashings, en ze op maat snijden. Er werd geen applique patroon onthuld. Dat gebeurt op 15 maart, volgende week donderdag.

Deze keuze zal worden aangevuld met allerlei stoffen uit mijn voorraad voor de bloemen en de blaadjes, in blauw, groen, roze, bordeaux en andere tinten voor de bloemen die Esther heeft ontworpen.
